SnoSpree returns February 9 to 16, 2026. Our weeklong winter carnival filled with fun family-friendly winter activities.

As well, don't miss our grand event: SnoSpree Central!

SnoSpree Central will take place on Monday, February 16 at the PMC Arena from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, featuring all the family favorites from last year, along with new and exciting activities to try together.

We hope you choose to spend Family Day celebrating with your loved ones at SnoSpree Central.

Below is the SnoSpree schedule broken down into each day.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Free Public Skate - Adults & Seniors

All Week long:

2026 2nd Annual SnoSpree Sculpture Competition! Build the best snow sculpture you can and submit a photo of your finished masterpiece to recreation@pembroke.ca

 by February 15th for a chance to win a $50 Downtown Pembroke voucher from the PBIA and a prize bag from the Parks and Recreation Department. Open to all ages and skill levels—kids, families, and adults are welcome! Get creative—use accessories, paint, or anything snowy to make your sculpture stand out. You can even submit a photo of each sculpture you build for extra chances to win. Don’t forget to share your creations on social media and tag us with #SnoSpreeSculpture. Here’s a photo of last year’s winner for inspiration:

All Winter Long:

Snowshoe Rentals! - Free to pick up and get out and get active! The parks and Recreation office has over 30+ pairs of snowshoes. All rentals are free but do require a credit card info for security reasons.

 

All week long:

SnoSpree’s Biggest Fan Contest! Send us a photo of yourself having fun at any SnoSpree event by February 15th and you’ll be entered to win a $50 Downtown Pembroke voucher from the PBIA and a prize bag from the Parks and Recreation Department. Open to all ages—kids, families, and adults are welcome! Attending multiple events? Send a photo from each event for extra chances to win. Be creative—show off your winter spirit with costumes, props, or fun poses! The winner will be announced on February 16th at SnoSpree Central. Don’t forget to share your photos on social media and tag us with #SnoSpreeFan. Email your entries to recreation@pembroke.ca to win!

Pembroke's Winter Craft Nights – Glass Fusing Workshop @Pembroke Memorial Centre (393 Pembroke Street West)

Led by Yvonne Lux of Stain in the Glass, participants will create a fused glass piece that will be mounted on a LED night light.

Double Feature Movie - Join us for a double feature movie at Festival Hall, courtesy of the Pembroke Parks & Recreation Department! The movies are:  Abominable (2:00 pm) and Wicked for Good (4:00 pm).

Learn to Curl with the Curling ClubInterested in Curling but don't know where to start? Try it out now for free with the Curling Club! Participants are required to have a clean pair of street shoes, no dirt or sand on the bottom. All other equipment will be provided.

3rd Annual SnoSpree Vendor Market - Join us for the 3rd Annual SnoSpree Vendor Market, including 50+ Vendors, FOOD DRIVE in support of St. Joseph's Food Bank. First 20 attendees will receive a complementary Swag Bag! Admission is free.
