Road Closures and Traffic Disruptions

Today, December 8, at 7:00 am until Friday, December 12 at 7:00 pm Nelson Street, between Lake Street and Maple Ave will be reduced to one lane for sanitary sewer lining. Flag persons will be directing traffic.

The City of Pembroke asks that drivers respect the posted construction signage at all times. Delays can be expected.

The travelling public is encouraged to use alternate routes.

You are reminded that businesses within the construction zone remain open for business and the many business owners would be happy to serve you.

We thank you for your patience as the City of Pembroke continues to improve our infrastructure.

The City of Pembroke is asking all residents in Pembroke and Laurentian Valley to please reduce water usage effective immediately and until further notice due to emergency infrastructure repairs.

Examples of activities to avoid at this time include laundry and housecleaning. Water use for using the washroom and cooking within reason is ok.
