Looking to hit the ODR this winter? Bring your skates and stick to jump on the ice at our outdoor rink, open seasonally and located at Rotary Park. Watch for signage at the park to indicate the status of the rink.

Algonquin Trail

Accessible via Waterfront Park, the Algonquin Trail is a year-round multi-use trail for cycling, snowmobiling, ATVing, walking, or just getting out in nature. It runs through Pembroke from the east end at Rankin Street to the west end at Forced Road with stops available in downtown Pembroke to shop and eat, the Pembroke Waterfront Park, as well as several hotels along the trail.

The trail connects Pembroke to the surrounding region from Smiths Falls to Mattawa.

Kiwanis Way

The Kiwanis Way is a non-motorized trail connecting Waterfront Park and Riverside Park. Enjoy a walk, run, or bike along the shores of the Ottawa River.

Grab your board and head to The Rapids Skate Park, located at the corner of Lake Street and Albert Street, to join fellow skaters. Enjoy a collection of different features to keep you stoked all day.

Looking to cool off with your kids this summer? Bring your bathing suits and enjoy our outdoor splash pads at Riverside Park and Rotary Park.

The Riverside Park Beach offers campers and community members a chance to cool off in the Ottawa River. The beach has lifeguards on duty in July and August from 12-6 p.m. Swimmers are welcome to use the beach outside of these hours at their own risk. 

Located at Riverside Park, the mini golf facility is operational throughout from Victoria Day weekend until Thanksgiving weekend. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy 18 holes of family fun with a touch of competition thrown in. Riverside Park also boasts well-maintained horseshoe pits!
