Waterfront

Perfectly situated along the Ottawa River, the possibilities are endless for outdoor activities. The Kiwanis Walkway is a scenic paved pathway along the Ottawa River. Take a stroll or cycle along the river's edge between the Waterfront and Riverside Park. The lovely, paved trail is 1.5 km and will bring you close to nature to view many species of plants, animals and birds that call the shoreline home.

Want to be on the water instead? Our seasonal marina is open May long weekend to Thanksgiving weekend. Or take a paddle in your canoe or kayak down the river.

Recreation

The City of Pembroke holds and maintains 24 public parks, amounting to 200 acres of beautiful green space. Each of our parks offers a unique experience; some parks provide grounds for sports and playgrounds while others offer a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful green space.
