COVID-19 Updates

The City of Pembroke is continuing to monitor the situation regarding the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) with the guidance of government and healthcare professionals across the province and the country. Throughout this situation, the City’s goal is to safeguard the continuity of Pembroke services that support the safety and well-being of our residents while ensuring the health and safety of our employees.

All City of Pembroke offices are now open to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to continue contacting City of Pembroke staff by email and telephone where possible. When visiting in-person it is recommended that individuals call ahead and book an appointment with city staff.  All offices have posted entry guidelines including wearing a mask, passing a health screening self-assessment, maximum occupancy and the use of hand sanitizer.

The Pembroke Memorial Centre, the Pembroke and Area Community Centre (Pem Ice II), Kinsmen Pool and The Bark Park are open with strict health and safety guidelines.

City staff  will continue to be availible by phone and email. To speak to a staff member please call 613-735-6821 or email pembroke@pembroke.ca between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Countil has resumed in-person meetings. Residets are encouraged to livestream the meetings on the City’s YouTube Channel.

Parks & Recreation Updates

This section provides information regarding City of Pembroke Parks and Recreation updates. 

The Parks and Recreation department office will open to the public on February 16.  Any Parks and Recreation invoices or fees are able to be paid over the phone. The department office is available to the public via phone or email at 613-735-6821 ext. 1501 or recreation@pembroke.ca.

The following amenities and services are currently open: 

  • Kinsmen Outdoor Rink
  • Rotary Outdoor Rink
  • All parks and playgrounds
  • The Bark Park
  • Kinsmen Pool (for limited programming) 
  • Pembroke Memorial Centre (for walking)
  • Pem Ice II (for regular ice schedule and public skating)
Building, Planning & By-Law Updates

The Building, Planning and By-Law Department will open to the public on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
