Pembroke Regional Hospital Presentation
Representatives of the Pembroke Regional Hospital were in attendance to speak regarding the hospital’s purchase of an electronic medical records system, indicating that this will increase connected care for patients, recruitment of physicians and other health care professionals and add to the provision of high quality and up-to-date care for their patients and families. They were seeking financial support from Council.

The City of Pembroke in conjunction with the Towns of Deep River, Laurentian Hills and Petawawa; and the Townships of Admaston/Bromley, Head Clara & Maria, Laurentian Valley, North Algona Wilberforce, and Whitewater Region developed a Joint Community Safety & Well-Being Plan Upper Ottawa Valley.

Snow has Arrived, Don’t Forget About the Snow Angels Program!
Residents can request assistance to have their driveways and windrows cleared during winter months. Volunteers can find residents in need of assistance. Snow Angels is strictly a volunteer platform.
Anyone in need of support can request service. Anyone who is willing and able can volunteer.

Proper Winter Set Out
With winter weather here, the City of Pembroke reminds everyone to put your garbage and recycling bins five (5) feet away from the road or sidewalk edge. It’s best to put them in your driveway so snow removal can be done easily, and it prevents damage to the bins. Please don’t put the bins on top of snowbanks or sidewalks.
