Guide to eating in the City of Pembroke
Guide to all of the dining possibilities in the City of Pembroke
The Ottawa River Institute and the Ottawa Valley Food Co-operative have collaborated on a newly published guide for Ottawa Valley food lovers! The Local Food Buying Guide for the Upper Ottawa Valley, is a very thorough guide to finding and buying delicious food products from local food producers and farmers across the Upper Ottawa Valley.
Each day at the Farmers' Market, up to 30 full-time occasional vendors display a wide array of homegrown and handmade products at its newly constructed facilities on the corner of Lake Street and Victoria Street. The Market runs every Wednesday and Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Market season runs approximately 22 weeks, from mid-May to the weekend after Thanksgiving in October.
