The Police Service Board is responsible for:

  • Determining objectives and priorities for police services, after consultation with the detachment commander or his or her designate.
  • Establishing any local policies with respect to police services, after consultation with the detachment commander or his or her designate.
  • Receiving regular reports from the detachment commander or his or her designate on discloures and descisions made under Section 45 (secondary activities)

The Pembroke Police Service Board currently has a vacancy.  If you would like to become a provincially-appointed board member, please refer to the Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services website

Police Service Board meetings are held in Council Chambers on a quarterly basis beginning at 4:00 p.m.   The next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers.  Members of the Public and media are welcome to attend these public meetings.
