Risk Watch

The Pembroke Fire Department is actively involved in the Risk Watch Program.  This program is a comprehensive injury prevention curriculum for children in preschool through grade 8.

In Canada, injuries are the leading cause of death for children over one year of age.  Risk Watch helps kids beat the odds.  With proper education, children can learn to be much safer and prevent injuries.  Risk Warch is designed to do exactly that!  Perfect for schools as well as educational programs in fire departments, hospitals, and other community agencies, Risk Watch gives kids the skills and knowledge they need to recognize and avoid risks.
