Pembroke City Council

The present Corporation of the City of Pembroke Council was established on the November 13, 2006 municipal elections for a four-year term ending in November, 2010. Seven Councillors and one Deputy Mayor make up this Council under the chairmanship of Mayor.

The present Council are:

Councillor Patricia Lafreniere
Councillor Cheryl Lowe
Councillor Terry O'Neill
Councillor Gary Severin
Councillor Shirley White

Public meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, at which time Council administers the business affairs of the City through the various committees and departments it has established. Through this network of public departments, Council directs a full compliment of community services including administration, fire and security, water and pollution control, public works and engineering, planning and economic development; and recreational services.
